Once you have decided that you want to get the best juicer on Amazon, there are a few questions that you should answer before actually buying one. This is because it depends on a range of factors which one is the best for you. The most appropriate juicer for me may not be the same in your case. So the best juicer also has a subjective element.
Important questions to consider include the following: Are you new to Juicing? How often do you plan on making homemade juices? What kinds of fruit and vegetables do you want to juice? The reason why centrifugal juicers are the best for those of you new to making your own great tasting health drinks is that they are easy to learn how to operate and it does not take long to clean them up after use. Some people prefer more complicated masticating juicer machines. These are great for people with certain needs from their juicer but for most of use, we can do just fine with a centrifugal device.
The more regularly you want to create your own juices, the more important it is that you are able to clean your juicer quickly. There is nothing worse than taking 5 minutes to make a juice, a few minutes to enjoy drinking it and then 15 minutes to clean up the appliance. Therefore, for me, I mainly use my centrifugal juicing machine because I can make juices quickly and also clean up in no time. One thing to remember is that the sooner you clean your unit, the less time it will take. Some ingredients, carrots for instance, stain the machine so the sooner you clean it, the better. To keep things bacteria free, I like to let the washable parts sit in a sink full of water with some bleach for a few hours. It is important to give it a good rinse after this. I have never had a bleach tasting drink yet and I certainly do not want to!
There are many low cost centrifugal juicers so why not compare prices on Amazon? These machines are great at juicing harder fruits and vegetables, e.g. things like apples and carrots. If you are more interested in spinach juice and using leafy green vegetables then it may make more sense to buy a masticating juicer. These machines are better at squeezing the juice out of these types of vegetables than centrifugal juice extractors.
The amount of money you have available to spend on your juicer will obviously be a factor in which machine you decide to go for. There are centrifugal juicers available for round about $50 and other machines that cost hundreds of dollars. You certainly do now want to buy a juicer that is more expensive than you can really afford. Much better to go for a cheap juicer that does the job you want it to.
